908SSP
A special thanks to Dean Liggett, it was his initial idea to do this project. I originally asked him if he knew of any possible projects. I was thinking in terms of restoring and converting a race bike for dual purpose use. He said he had this low mileage 900sp and a swing arm from a 916 and suggested I put it on the 900sp. I liked the looks of the 916 very much who doesn't and said if I do that I would want to go all the way. My favorite single thing with the 916 has got to be the underseat exhaust so it had to have that, the larger forks were another must have so it all started coming together in my head that I wanted a cross between the 900sp and the 916. Thanks Dean.

900SS
When it came time to find a bike to use on the track I new I wanted a 900SS but not your average 900. I had the good fortune to bump into Joe Tortora at Grattan raceway during the 1999 DOCC rally he had a modified 900SS that was just the right place to start as it was in need of a lot of cosmetic work and yet had a frame with a altered steering head angle the kind of change I could appreciate. and it was for sale I simply traded my F1S for it and took it home.

907IE
This bike was designated as the bike my friend Dean was going to keep for himself. And when he didn't he choose me to be the only one worthy of this fine machine.
