Bay Bridge

Bay Bridge InfoBay Bridge Photographs
This is the "other" bridge that leads into San Francisco. Not to be mistaken for that other "famous" bridge in San Francisco bay, this bridge connects the city of Oakland with San Francisco. The Bay Bridge is actually made up of two bridges. The first is a cantilever section that connects Oakland to Yurba Buena and treasure islands. The freeway then travels through a tunnel and then connects to a beautiful suspension bridge. In fact, I like the suspension bridge section better than the Golden Gate bridge. First, there are five towers which make it look more impressive. (The golden gate I believe is longer) Secondly, from the deck of the Bay Bridge, you get an awesome view of Down Town San Francisco.
