                                    AQUARIAN ANALYTICAL SAMPLE ACCEPTANCE POLICY

All samples submitted to our lab must meet the following acceptance criteria set according to our company, state, and national certification standards.  These sampling and submittal guidelines are as follows:

Samples must be collected in proper containers which can be provided and obtained from AQUARIAN at no extra charge.

Samples must be collected with proper preservation if needed.  Again, AQUARIAN can prepare and provide containers with proper preservation at no extra charge.

Samples must be submitted with required sample volumes.  Please be advised that some analyses may need additional volume (more containers) to meet quality assurance and control (QA/QC) requirements.

Most testing requires samples to be maintained on ice and submitted at 2 to 6 degrees Celcius.  Next day shipping and delivery is suggested.

Samples need to be submitted well before hold time expiration.  Rush charges will be applied if late samples need to be tested ASAP to meet hold times.

All sample containers need to be clearly and properly identified using provided sample labels.  Sample name/ID, preservation, collection times (using military time), sampler's name(s) and project name needs to be accurately written on each sampling container submitted for analysis.

A chain of custody (COC) needs to be fully completed with sample information listed and accurately matching up with containers and analyses required.  Client information (name, mailing address, phone/fax/e-mail), turnaround requirements, name of project, name of sampler(s), and other special instructions if needed must be legibly written on COC.  In addition, the COC needs to be signed and dated indicating the time when the samples were relinquished and submitted to AQUARIAN.

All report data will be clearly footnoted if any of the above requirements are not met.

New clients may establish credit with AQUARIAN provided that they complete and sign agreeing to the terms of our "application for credit contract."  If not, all "non-contractual" work must be prepayed in advance (10% discount will be granted) before results are released.

Please call us at 603-783-9097 should you have any questions regarding the above.

THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES !
