Far-Talking (Regular; Automatic Resistance)

Caster can establish verbal communication over long distances. This has an obvious advantage over telepathy: the caster and subject do not share all of their thoughts, a state which is sometimes undesirable. This allows caster to contact those whom he does not completely trust. All of the words communicated are must be spoken out loud. In many ways, this spell is analogous to using a modern-day telephone. This spell uses the long distance modifiers.

Once one is familiar with the phenomenon, even a non-mage is aware when they are been sought by the Far-Talking spell, and they must be willing for the communication to be established. Either party may end Far-Talking at any time.
