10.26.04 - Thank you once again to all who donated to our Mentally
Handicapped drive. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Softball Team Takes Second
10.01.04 - The Council softball team finished 9-3 and took second
place in the division at the Joliet Park District.
Star Council Award
09.01.04 - Council #4400 was awarded the Star Council award by
Supreme Council #4400 for meeting membership and insurance goals.
The award was presented to the council at the meeting on September 1,
2004.

06.16.04 - Council #4400 held Officer elections for the Fraternal

Holiday Food Drive
12.22.03 - During November and December, non-perishable food was
collected and donated to local food pantries. Thanks to all who
donated to this worthy cause.
MH/MR "Tootsie Roll" Drive a Success
10.5.03 - Thank you to the Joliet, Manhattan, and New Lenox
communities for helping make our annual Mentally Handicapped/Mentally
Retarded drive a success. Money collected is donated to assist
Mentally Handicapped/Mentally Retarded citizens in our community.
Softball Team Wins First Place
9.12.03 - The Knights of Columbus #4400 softball team beat Heroes &
Legends 9-8 to take First Place in the Joliet Park District Men's Green E
division.
Council
#4400 Member wins Bar-B-Que Raffle
9.2.03 - Steve Hoehn, a member of our Council was awarded the top
prize in the K of C Cooperative Bar-B-Que. Congratulations
Steve. Our Council sold 155 books of chances. Thanks to all
who sold or purchased chances.

of Columbus #4400 Mentioned in Columbia Magazine
8.14.03 - Fourth Degree Members from Council #4400 participated in
the Our Lady of the Americas procession in Romeoville.
Knights
of Columbus #4400 Wins Star Council Award
7.16.03 - District Deputy Al Urban indicated that he has received
confirmation from the Supreme Council that Council #4400 has received
the Star Council Award for the 2002-2003 Fraternal Year. The award
will be presented at a later meeting. Thanks to PGK Pat Cernyar
and all the Brother Knights who helped win this award. Also
congratulations to Al for winning a Star District Award.

7.11.03 - Fr. Ron Neitzke, a member of our Council recently returned
from Active duty with the Marines.

Knights
of Columbus #4400 Elects New Officers
6.4.03 - Elections for the 2003-2004 Fraternal Year were held at the
council. Congratulations to our new Grand Knight, Bernie Lawrence,
and his slate of Officers. Installation of Officers will be held
at 7pm on July 16. Knights and their families are welcome.

of Columbus #4400 Participates in Joliet Easter Parade
4.12.03 - Dan Grzetich, a member of our council, drove the Knights
of Columbus #4400/Big John's Flea Market entry in the City of Joliet
Easter Parade. Many thanks to Dan for his effort at area parades.

of Columbus #4400 Hosts Annual Blood Drive
4.12.03 - Deputy Grand Knight Bernie Lawrence hosted our Council's
Annual Blood Drive again this year. Nineteen pints were
collected. Thanks to all members and
friends who participated.

1.1.03 - Our Council was mentioned in Columbia magazine for our
assistance in painting the exterior of Saint Mary Magdalane Church in
Joliet.
