What should we say about the Unicorn? We can not understand it, for we have only a Shadow of its greatness. Let us describe how it affects us, and thereby define it through our common vision.

The Unicorn awes us. We are renewed and changed by its beauty, by its freshness. We are aware of its primal nature, without consultation of record or esoteric knowledge. While it is nothing like us, we sense that there is a bond. For some, it is a bond of service, for others, a bond of admiration or a feeling of kinship.

You may see how these values coincide with the Unicorn's behavior. It avoids direct confrontation, for while it is extremely canny in conflict and strategem, it must work to avoid direct test against other Primal Beings.
