Ray King: The James & Shirley Rippey Professor of Accounting

On November 1, 2006 Professor Raymond D. King (that's my brother Ray) was awarded an endowed Chair at the University of Oregon.

Ray has been a professor and administrator at the College of Business, University of Oregon for many years.

Ronda and I attended the event and enjoyed it very much.

What I didn't get on video were there two presentations made by others to honor Ray.  They talked eloquently about Ray's accomplishments, his leadership skills and his integrity.   

Ray also made a 15 minute presentation where he recapped and summarized the last 10 years of his published research.  The audience was mostly made up of his academic colleagues, who understood this stuff <grin>.
