"I think of each piece of my art as synonymous with music.  At some point I learned that when sound is raised to very high frequencies, it becomes color and then pure light, and this concept became a driving force in the work I produce.  Each has its own unique melody of color and rhythm of composition and form.  For this reason, I have moved into a more flowing, abstract form of expression using vibrant dyes.  I see my art as a translator between the literal, cognitive world of the human mind, and the intuitive world of the spirit.  It calls us to connect with that which nurtures us.  In this sense, my work could be considered both visionary and tribal."
