Jane Barrientos, CDA

Jane has taught throughout the United States, and  Toronto, Canada for the past 30 years.
She continues to teach adults from her Studio/Gallery in West Springfield, MA from September to May each year.

With Jane's support, many of her  students have become professional artists in their own style and with their own following.

Each Spring Jane sponsors a Student Art Show Reception in her Studio/Gallery, highlighting a  feature artist.
Many original works  and prints are on display and for sale. Watch this space for the Spring, 2010 Student Show and reception.

Many of Jane's students will assert at first that they have "no talent," and  question whether they will be able to paint well. Jane assures everyone that 99% of success has little to do with talent. Success comes from perseverance,  by attending classes regularly and learning theory in a supportive atmosphere of  fun, sharing and comradeship.
