Old Master Painting Design

This five day workshop will be taught at Jane Barrientos ' studio
at 33 Copper Street, West Springfield, MA 413-736-8882
Space is limited to 12 students.
Strong visual design is at the heart of old master painting. Good design is based on decisions . These decisions may be made consciously after study and delib eration. This workshop will include lectures, visual aids and many exercises to sharpen the artist's perception of volume values, pattern, shape, color, edge and history.

On Saturday, July 29, 2006, The Granby, CT. Chamber of Commerce
presented The Parade of Ponies at Salmon Brook Park .
Jane's painted pony, "Run for the Roses" was one of 40 painted horses
parading through downtown of Granby, CT
The horses were on display at downtown businesses and parks.
Jane's "Run for the Roses" was sponsored by Pierce enterprises, Medical Imaging , Eastern Rehabilitation and CT Multispecialty on Route 20, Granby, CT
