Scott Frankenberger has been a potter for over 25 years. He has worked with stoneware, but for the last 10 years has worked exclusively in porcelain. He uses a variety of formation techniques, including throwing, pressmolds, slab construction, and extrusions. Some pieces incorporate a combination of these techniques. Scott intends for his pieces to be used, but when not in use, they should stand on their own as successful forms and compositions. He produces bowls, pitchers, teapots, dinnerware sets, a variety of serving forms, and frequent one of a kind pieces. He also does public installations and private commissions.
