In January of 2005, I wanted to replace the rotors and brakes before I add the addition weight of the batteries. The Miata comes with 4 wheel disc brakes, which are good. But, I'm going to end up adding about 800 lbs to the car and will need some serious stopping power. I purchased some slotted rotors and some new pads to go with them. I got them from www.raceshopper.com. They do have great prices.
