This weekend Dave came over and we installed the 8 inch Advance DC motor to the transmission and placed them into position. We reused the existing engine mounting brackets. Then Dave welded them to the band that will go around the motor. I have been working on cleaning and repainting them. Dave took some measurements for the battery layout and will start constructing the battery boxes and frames. Before we can do that, I had to remove the convertible top and get it out of the way. I also finished mounting the drive shaft and put some oil in the transmision. I still have lots of work before Dave comes back with the battery boxes.
