In February of 1999 I attended my first meeting of the newly reorganized Antioch Schools Education Foundation. The 3 other newly elected members; Mark Gouveia, Fred Rowden and Dan Garcia (appointed in January) promptly elected me as President. I've served as President for 3 years; Secretary for 2 (while President) and Vice President for 1 year. Currently I'm serving as Chair of the Corporate Committee.
Dave Naro
Citizen of Antioch since 1969, attended Lane Community College, University of Oregon, put four children through Antioch public schools, 30 years owner of Roller Haven Skating Center. Community involvement includes Rotary Club, Parks & Recreation Commission, Delta Mem. Hospital Foundation, Chamber of Commerce, Antioch Economic Development Corp., Southwest Pacific RSA, Mt. Diablo Boy Scouts, Antioch Schools Education Foundation. "Private supplemental funding of our schools through ASEF helps to ensure a brighter future for our kids and community; especially during times of district budget cuts."

A 16 year resident of Antioch, graduate of U of Victoria (BS), U of Manitoba (BS), and George Washington University (MS). Also a Certified Utility Safety Administrator and State Registered Environmental Assessor II employed as the Manager of Environmental Health & Safety with Comcast Cable Communications. Presently has one child attending Dallas Ranch Middle School. Involved in Corporate and ASEF efforts to enhance the quality of student education. "I firmly believe that giving to a child's education is the most unselfish and noble act one can perform...their future depends on it. The goals of the ASEF makes it happen."

Steve Bauman
Steve Bauman and his wife Cindy have raised all 3 of their daughters in the Antioch public school system. Steve is a Senior Environmental Engineer with Mirant Corporation where he is responsible for obtaining and complying with environmental permits for local power plants. He has a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.
