FUNERAL OF PETER MOONEY WAS LARGELY ATTENDED

The funeral of Peter Mooney which took place this morning from the house on Center street at 9 o'clock with requiem mass in St. Rose's church at 9:30 o'clock was very largely attended. Rev. Father Guinan officiated.

During the service at the church Miss Marie Cahill sang very beautifully "Angels Ever Bright and Fair."

The remains were taken on the 10:43 train to Hartford for burial, the bearers being Frank Lynch, James P. Carey, John Hacket, John Heeney, Michael Glynn and Patrick Kenna. Henry F. Mooney of Washington, D. C., a son of the deceased, arrived in Meriden last evening to attend the funeral.
