Scholarships:

The Chapter Matching Scholarship is the Foundation's most active. This program is intended to support chapter scholarship programs by providing a matching grant to a chapter scholarship recipient. The Foundation matches the dollar amount a chapter awards up to $500. If the recipient is a chapter member, the Foundation doubles the matching contribution up to $1000. The Foundation provides up to 50 of these matching scholarships per year (see prior winners ). For more information on the ASIS Foundation's scholarship program, check the Foundation scholarship policy.

In addition to the scholarship already received, winners of chapter matching scholarships are eligible to receive a Regional Vice President (RVP) Award. Every RVP has the opportunity to assist a chapter in their region with this addition scholarship award. This provides an additional $500.00 to the scholarship recipient. More information on the RVP Award is in the Foundation scholarship policy.

The 9/11 memorial scholarship was part of the ASIS response to the attacks on the US on September 11, 2001. This endowed fund will give scholarships to deserving students. Priority will go to students of families directly affected by the attacks of 9/11 or students who have lost a family member who worked in the security field.

Chapter Endowed Scholarships result from the chapter endowed funds managed by the Foundation. These permanently restricted funds ensure chapters will have money available for scholarships for perpetuity. The interest earned by the funds is used to provide scholarships. This scholarship can be used in conjunction with the chapter matching scholarships. There are currently seven chapter endowed funds.
