Lynnhaven Ladies...
Our annual
Holiday/Christmas
Luncheon is
THIS Thursday, December 10th, at Glenview.
If you made your reservations, plan on being there at 11:30 a.m. There will
be party favors for everyone and two door prizes.
A bus trip to Savannah, Georgia,
was suggested and Barbara Nini has made some preliminary inquiries.
Read a little more
about it. If enough people are interested at this month's luncheon, Barbara
will make the arrangements.
|
For January, we'll
have Aloha 'O Ka Hula dance for us and teach us to hula. Bring a sack lunch;
dessert will be provided by club volunteers. Dues for 2010 will be collected at
the meeting. When paying dues, make your check payable to Lynnhaven Ladies.
Checks are preferred.
See what other programs are
tentatively planned
for 2010 and mark your calendars now. If you
have an idea to suggest,
please contact Pat Weaver.

Lynnhaven Ladies Book Club...
We discussed
Heart and Soul by Maeve Binchy
on Thursday, December 3rd,
then went to Glenview for our annual Holiday luncheon. Read all about it and
see some pictures that were taken.
Next month we'll be
discussing South of Broad
by Pat Conroy. Hope to see you then.

Peg sends club members a Thank You note.
The
club's 5th anniversary is in
January, and we'll be celebrating by going to lunch after our discussion.
Also, Lovely Bones
should be hitting the theaters in January, so we'll have a "field trip" when
it comes to The Villages. Stay tuned.
See summaries of the books selected for future
reading and discussion in
Upcoming Books. |

Lynnhaven Neighbors...
Our
annual
Christmas/Holiday Dinner & Dance is
SOLD OUT. Waiting list only.
Contact Tina Murray to be added to the waiting list or if you
can't attend after all.
Hurry and sign up for the Winter Ball in
January. There are
only 50 seats left. You will again be able to make group reservations, but all
Lynnhaven residents must have renewed their
dues for 2010
first. Make reservations as a group if you want to sit together. There are 8 to
a table.
See what other events are
being planned. More information about upcoming events has been added.

Check out the golf events for 2010.
Our 5th annual
Golf
Cart Poker Run & Charity Fundraiser was
Friday, November 20th, at the Canal Street Recreation Center.
Read about the event and see some pictures that were taken.
Renew your
membership for 2010. Your dues for 2010
must be paid before you can sign up for any events in 2010. In
spite of continually rising prices, from supplies to food to
entertainment, we are holding membership
dues at $10 per person.
Treasurer's Report, which includes
the club's subsidies for 2009 events, has been updated for the month.
