The October 28th topic will be “Winter Landscapes & Cold Protction”. The Speaker will be Jim Davis, Sumter County Residential Horticulture Agent. Florida’s winter weather is not far away, so it is time to start preparing. Tender plants will need protection from the cold temperatures that can arrive as early as late December and linger until mid-March.

Winter gardening in Florida can be very rewarding. There are a number of plants and vegetables that do very well here.  This talk will help you make the most of winter gardening in Central Florida.

Please remember to bring your Village IDs.
