About Me...


Kyle Alexander
S/W/M seeking... oh, wait. Similar, but not the purpose of this page Although, as I assume you've come to this page to find more about me, I suppose I should provide something to reward your clicking efforts... I'm 25 years old, and I currently reside in Seattle, WA. I'm an alumni of Purdue University, where I graduated in Dec 2002 with a B.S. in Computer Science. I currently work for the Consumer Marketing & Web Development Department at Real Networks. For more information on my current and past career, see the page by the same name.



History
I was born November 28th, 1979 in Greensburg, IN. I lived there until I was 3, at which point our family moved to the "suburbs" of Greensburg, to a little place called Letts. I attended South Decatur Jr./Sr. High School, where I was involved in Band, Key Club, and the Academic Team (Science, Math, Interdisciplinary). I was also involved in Boy Scouts. I then attended Purdue University, where I was involved in the "All American" Marching Band, Boiler Brass, and a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, the National Honorary Band Fraternity. I also carried a card for the ACM, but those kids were scary, so I never did much with them other than eat the pizza they ordered for the one club meeting they held each year... And now I live here Woo-hoo!



Interests and Future Goals
I like reading, computers, going to the gym, and chatting with friends... and pizza is good. I'd like to go skydiving, but I'm waiting until I have insurance, because I know my luck, and I'll find a way to break something when I land. I'd also like to learn to snowboard, as there are plenty of places here to go... but see reasoning for postponed skydiving. I like the outdoors... camping, hiking, and rafting are all great. And astronomy tends to keep my interest more than most subjects! I'm a Harry Potter fanatic, and I'm quite impatient in waiting for "HPatHBP" to arrive! I attend Antioch Bible Church, where I help out with the 4/5 year old sunday school classes, and I attend a men's bible study on Monday nights. My future goals, aside from reading books 6 and 7, include a nice trip to Key West, preferably not by myself But we'll see how that goes... Aside from that, I'd like to retire early and travel, so any new get rich quick business schemes, send them my way!
