Today's Sky & Conditions 

What are your local weather conditions like today? Will the skies be clear at night for observing? What time is sunrise and sunset? And how about moonrise and moonset?

Build It Yourself

 Find plans to build a base to raise a dobsonian telescope, an easy adaptor that mounts a digital camera to a telescope eyepiece, and a mount to attach a Telrad to a refractor's tube rings in the Build It Yourself section. All of these projects can easily be built by anyone.

My Equipment

This is the Equipment that I currently own and use in this hobby. The list keeps growing just like it would in any hobby. I just purchased a Denkmeier Big Easy binoviewer, which I have just added to the list and to the Review page.

Observing The Night Skies

The Observing section is filled with things to look at in your nighttime skies. It is sub divided into sections covering all 88 constellations, the moon and planets, 110 Messier Objects, monthly deep space object targets and a section covering observing tips to help you get the best out of your observing sessions.
