Lagoon and Trifid Nebula

Located north of the spout of the teapot of Sagittarius this area is packed full of things to see. When you are looking this direction you are looking at the center of the Milky Way galaxy.

This is a 200mm f4 piggyback shot on Fuji Super G 800 film for around 15 minutes. The image was scanned from the negative and manipulated in Photoshop. It isn't exactly Astrophysics refractor quality, but it isn't too bad for a 200mm camera lens.
