Fire Over Mt Rainier

No, the sky is not on fire, it's just the Milky Way with Sagittarius and Jupiter over Mt Rainier. I took this picture while trying to catch a Persied meteor in August, 1996.

This simple tripod shot is one my personal favorites. The negative was scanned and the image was processed in photoshop.
