Biography

I am certified as a hypnotherapist by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and the American Council of Hypnotists Examiners. I received my training at the Colorado School of Counseling and Hypnotherapy Training, where I completed the Whole Health Hypnotherapy, Transpersonal Hypnotherapy and Counseling Skills training. I am certified in HypnoBirthing® and as an "Easy Childbirth through Hypnosis" practitioner. I am a member of the Colorado Association of Psychotherapists.

I graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the University of Florida in Gainesville. I worked in the computer software industry for 14 years, and was a principal engineer at several start-up companies where I developed my ability to focus on and create results with others. I founded Colorado Women in Technology to promote the success of women in technology through networking and education.

I decided to become a hypnotherapist after having hypnotherapy profoundly affect my own life and wanting to be able to pass on the benefits of hypnotherapy to others.
