Teeth become discolored for many reasons. Coffee, tea, red wine, and cigarettes all contribute to the yellowing of teeth. Certain medications such as tetracycline can cause teeth to become gray. Even the natural process of aging affects the color of the teeth.
How Zoom Works!
During the Zoom! whitening process, a gel containing hydrogen peroxide is placed on your teeth and a light is focused onto the teeth allowing the gel to gently penetrate the surface to remove stains and other discolorations without harming or altering the tooth structure. Most of our patients comfortably listen to music or watch TV during the procedure. Some even fall asleep!
At our office, Zoom! tooth whitening results are immediate. Typically, teeth are at least six to ten shades lighter and patients receive a complementary take home kit that includes bleaching trays and gel for touch-up and maintenance at home.
