Professional Counseling is administered by Dr. Sabry Attia. He is a Certified Diplomat Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Hypnotherapist, and a Specialist in Aging. With over Forty Years experience in the field of Social Services, he earned his Doctorate Degree in Human Service Administration. For the last ten years he held the position of Director of the Northeast Medical District, for the Wayne County Department of Social Services. Where he supervised the implementation of Federal and State regulations regarding Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and the provision of resources to the hospitals, and residents in Nursing Homes, Home for the Aged, and Adult Foster Care Facilities.
Dr. Attia is a member of the American Board of Examiners, the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and the National Guardian Association. He is also a licensed therapist is England. Dr Attia is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a specialist in aging. Upon his retirement from State Service, Dr Attia through Professional Counseling Services has focused his extensive knowledge and experience on providing the needed guardianship and conservatorship services to the elderly and disabled in addition to providing therapy to individual families, Marriage Counseling, and hypnotherapy.
He has been in private practice in Michigan since 1980 and in New Port Richey Florida since 1997. He devotes his talents, time and expertise to his clients. Dr Attia is internationally known he has conducted several workshops is Sweden, Denmark, Mexico, Ireland, Finland and the Middle East beside many states in the U.S.A.
