PTC 59
PTC #59 was built in 1922 by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. Her first home was in Schuylkill Park in Pottsville, PA. In 1928 she went to White City Park in Worcester, MA, where she thrilled youngsters and adults for twenty years. Later she went to reside in Wedgwood Park, in Oklahoma City until she was sent to Petticoat Junction in Panama City, FL where she was eventually stripped of her horses and sold at auction. She was later purchased, brought back to PA in a dump truck, and lovingly transformed into the "Grand Carousel" which can be rode and admired year round in her new home at Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA.
