Medical Research Grants
Due to the current economy, research grants will not be awarded in 2010.
Application Deadline for 2011 Grants: September 15, 2011
Each year, the Autism Relief Foundation will choose recipients to receive funding for appropriate medical research regarding the cause and treatment of children and adults on the autistic spectrum.
Applicant Criteria:
- Research project goal must include addressing the potential causes and different treatment modalities.
- Each research team must have a person on their team with clinical experience currently working directly with children or adults on the autistic spectrum.
- The head researcher must either have a MD or PhD degree.
- Appropriate approval by governing authorities for the project if required.
- Drug or pharmaceutical company funding must not be accepted for the research project to ensure no bias.
- If chosen as a grant recipient, the published/public viewed research must mention funding provided by the Autism Relief Foundation.
