Backdrops
This page is here for historical purposes. Backdrops are obsolete in AW. I would like to compliment AW on the improvement of the sky.

- Click backdrop link and save it to your hard drive as a .bmp extension.
- I recommend deleting/overwriting the original fall_day.bmp because it is boring :-)
- Change the file name to fall_day.bmp (or the filename in Settings, World, Features... , Sky, Backdrop).
- Place a copy in the appropriate aw directory.
- For example: C:\Active Worlds\cache\art\objects.activeworlds.com-aw\textures
- Next ..."Bounce" or click on a restricted world with a grey icon.
- New sky should appear.
- I recommend backing up backdrops since AW overwrites it periodically.
