| As many hardcore fans of Dawn of the Dead already know, the gun store was not located at the Monroeville Mall. It was actually located in the East Liberty district of Pittsburgh and operated under the name of Firearms Unlimited. The store went out of business shortly after filming wrapped. They filmed through the gates of Cheeseboard (pictured below) to make the gun shop appear to be located in the mall. |
