Elite Entertainment, 1995 In 1995, Elite Entertainment released Night of the Living Dead: 25th Anniversary Collector's Edition, the first release to feature a new THX approved audio/video transfer, along with a bevy of special features, such as two separate commentary tracks with George Romero, John Russo, Karl Hardman, Marylyn Eastman, and Russ Streiner, Kyra Schon, Bill Hinzman, Judith O' Dea, Keith Wayne and Vince Survinski. The second disc in the set contains the original shooting script, excerpts from John Russo's Night of the Living Dead Filmbook, a massive still photo gallery, advertisements by The Latent Image, interviews with Duane Jones and Judith Ridley, clips from Romero's second film THERE'S ALWAYS VANILLA, and a short parody film titled NIGHT OF THE LIVING BREAD. Also, contained on the sleeve are two pieces written by Sam Raimi and Stephen King. |

Beam Entertainment, Japanese Release, 1997 This box set contains all of the special features from the Elite 25th Anniversary Edition, except it includes an interview with George Romero, that was also included on the Dawn of the Dead "Perfect Edition" Japanese laserdisc release, and the German " Zombie: Dawn of the Dead - 156 Minute 'Ultimate Final' Cut - Special Edition" DVD. Also included is a postcard featuring the Italian Poster art. |
