| This novel was converted from the script by Susanna Sparrow, who also wrote the novel for Dawn of the Dead. I have never read the original script for Martin but I imagine that she follows it pretty closely based on how close she followed the script in Dawn. Until the three hour cut of Martin surfaces, this novel will be the only source for ideas on what the original script contained. It contains an essay from George A. Romero that was written in 1977. The book is long out of print but you can find copies on Ebay and other online book sources. It is a good read and I recommend picking it up to any fan of Martin. | |
