Bat32 and Jdog host this fantastic, bi-weekly podcast
dedicated to exploitation, cult, and horror cinema. Each episode
features a review of an obscure cinematic personality, Web Plugs, and The
VHS Vault.
DEADPIT RADIO
Get ready for some deep south, country fried horror talk. The Creepy Kentuckian and
Uncle Bill have interviewed
dozens of horror icons and have been around as long (probably longer) as any
horror podcast out there. Also featured
are news, reviews, and roundtable discussions with members of the horror
community.
HORRORETC
Hosted by Tony, Ted, and sometimes Doug, this Canadian
based podcast is highly informative.
The Horroretc Podcast is an open discussion about
all things horror.
The show covers film topics by theme and genre with attention paid to the
directors and
the state of the horror industry. We also enjoy discussing the darkened
corners of pop culture in schlock corner.
CHIN STROKER VS. PUNTER
A weekly podcast out of England that
is as jovial as it is entertaining. The rapport between Paul and Mike make
for
good ear candy, and there is just something about two British guys gushing over
Burt Reynold's flicks.
Join Mike and Paul (aka Chin Stroker and
Punter) as they discuss a film a week from their own
differing point of view. Mike is an ex-film student, Paul is a punter. Sit back
in fascinated horror
as they discuss filmic issues as varied as justifying an appreciation of David
Lynch, and the merits
of Arnold Schwarzenegger's comedy acting chops.
CINEPHOBIA RADIO
Hosted by Rue Morgue's own Feedback, CINEPHOBIA
is probably the most professionally produced podcast I have ever
listened to. Materials are combined from Feedback's weekly radio show on CKLN,
as well as celebrity conventions.
Episodes are released randomly, so you'll definitely want to use the RSS feed.
A radio program hosted by Stuart "Feedback" Andrews and his gaggle of Cinephobiacs who
irresponsibly plunder the cultures of film and television with interviews, reviews, discussions,
giveaways
and the occasional Gilbert and Sullivan inspired song and dance
number.
Unfortunately, this podcast has
ceased to exist. The Changeling and Jdog host, as they explore
the underbelly of cinema, focusing on exploitation and just flat out greasy
films. These episodes
may be off the web soon, so get them while you can.
Shloggs is a good friend of the show,
as well as a fantastic writer. His blog posts are lengthy,
well though out, and thought provoking. Give it a read and you'll see what
I mean.
