Ever since I started my own Web site, I have found myself looking at everyone else's home pages (not to mention stealing little pieces of them too) and it just never ceases to amaze me how much variety there is out there.  I don't know why I should be surprised by that fact, because we as humans are all individuals with different -- interests, dreams, technical abilities, and amounts of disposable time to pluck away at a keyboard.  I have spent hours checking out guest books that link to peoples own home pages.  Everyone always wants you to check out their site, give reviews, and of course sign their guest book as well (and i'm no different).  Why all the effort to have someone look at your page?  Why not?  Most of us spent entirely too much time creating them and just want to connect to others, and have them enjoy reading as much as we've enjoyed composing.  Don't get me wrong, I can't really speak for everyone as to why they've chosen to add to this World Wide Web -- Why don't you ask them yourself.  At least check out their hard work -- and you know -- sign the guest books too.
