Bright Spot Riders

HOME PAGE

We are a group of like-minded riders who enjoy getting together for a few destination rides each year. For the most part, these are the Spring Run, Blessing of the bikes Run, and the Fall Run….with an occasional sperm-of-the-moment ride kicked in with no particular direction in mind.

A good place for getting information on these rides is the “Bright Spot Store” located on East Dunstable Road in Nashua (exit 4). There will always be flyers available a couple weeks before any upcoming rides. While there; speak to “Steve”, he can fill you in on the details and answer your questions.

The Runs

The “Spring Run”---- usually around the first week in May. We leave Nathaniel’s @ 9:00am and take the back roads to “Wally’s Pub” in Hampton Beach for a short stop, and then it’s up along the coast; eventually ending at “Loud Pipes Saloon” in Somersworth.

The “Blessing Run”---- held the following weekend after Laconia Motorcycle Week. This run a two night event and due to the limited number of beds available it is on a first-come first-served basis, It is referred to as the “Bimless”, ~> a guys only ride <~ We stay at a place called “Robin’s Cabins” on Back Lake in Pittsburg, NH. It’s a nice place to relax, fish, barbeque, or hop on the bike and ride into Vermont/Canada to take in the scenery. Of course, there is always the festivities in Colebrook and the actual blessing-of-the-bikes on Sunday…….I should really try to make it there myself ….one of these years.

The “Fall Run”---- This one generally occurs in mid-late October, we try to pay attention to the foliage forecast; so we can get the most out of nature’s fireworks. We usually ride along the Connecticut River and up to Sunapee where we will stop @ Murphy’s Grill for food & spirits.
