The CHG will be having a tactical event September 21st to 23rd to be held at the Holcomb Valley Boy Scouts Camp, located northeast of San Bernardino in the mountains adjacent to Big Bear Lake, in southern California. The event scenario is the 1944-45 northern Apennines Mountains ITALIAN FRONT. The RSI Mameli Bersaglieri Battalion, Italia and Monterosa Divisions all participated in combat against the Allies there, as the Allies attempted to breakout into the Po Valley during the winter-spring of 1945.

There is a potential Italian-Russian Front event for February 2008. It is still in the planning stages but now is the time to let us know if you are interested in attending an event as an Italian. Introduction
The 5th Bersaglieri Regiment is recognized by the CHG of California as a secondary impression unit. We encourage all West Coast Italian reenactors to join us in recreating a Bersaligieri impression. We are a nonpolitical group which honors the bravery, dedication and sacrifices of the Italian soldier regardless of his political affiliation during the war.
Our primary focus is to experience WWII as an Italian soldier through tactical combat simulations. Our organization includes a North Africa and an East Front Bersaglieri impression. In addition, we also have an RSI impression for appropriate theater events. Our group is based in California with events located in throughout California.
