Hello All,

We had our second 2006 West Coast CHG Italian Front event this past weekend. Due to a number of factors, 1) a recent wild fire in the area causing a cancellation and then a reinstatement of the event, and 2) the threat of the season's first big rain storm (Turned out to be a fantastic 65 degree sunny day) the event turnout was smaller (60+ Soldats with about 30 on both sides).

Brian, Chris and I did show up to form the 2nd Battaglione "Vendetta," 1. Sturmbrigade Italienische Freiwilligen Legion contingent. Along with our RSI German allies, we had a very good time battling the Americanos through the valley and over the ridges. Lots of ambushes and small patrol firefights, and several very active and accurate (!) mortars on both sides. Fun was had by all! Now to plan the Desert Battle for spring 2007!
