The first to see the world outside the womb was Samantha Nicole at 4:45 PM. She weighed 3 lb. 9 oz. She may have been a preemie, but she was 17" long! This girl has got some legs! She is the only one of the three that was on a respirator. She is now able to breathe on her own.

Then, at 4:46 PM, Dominic Paul arrived. Dominic was the one we were worried about, but I guess he was taking after his daddy and playing some kind of joke on us, because he is doing fine. At 2 lb. 5 oz. and 14" long, he was (and still is) the smallest of the three.

And then came Kayla Shea at 4:47 PM weighing 2 lb. 13 oz. at 15 1/2" long. Kayla had some labored breathing on the night of her birth. She would give out a little cry as she breathed out but, by midnight, that started to clear up The next day, she's was breathing well.

Update to come soon. I wanted to get the latest pictures up for now….

 New Nursery

Remember that tiny room upstairs that we stuffed all three cribs in? Well, we decided to move the nursery to the larger room downstairs. We think this works out much better! Also, note the artwork of our very good friend, Paul Deesen.  It's still a work in progress. You can see the rainbow slide that will be filled in. Also, we're going to paint those old ceiling tiles a light blue with clouds.

Tammie and Kristina

Tammie waves "hello" from the cottage, then is shown at the shower during the "How many balloons will it take to float Tammie" contest. Then, at right with Tammie and Kristina in the foreground, Cumberland Falls in Kentucky never looked better!
