World War II's end 'shame for America because of Yalta'
[Letter published in the Holland Sentinel, 13 May 1985]

World War II ended forty years ago. The American ambassador in Moscow refused to attend the Soviet celebration of this anniversary because of the Soviet lies that the Soviet Union — alone — beat the Germans. I salute you, Mr. Ambassador.

In America, this anniversary is being celebrated in a rather low-key manner because Americans would like to "forget." No wonder! The end of the war is shame for America because of Yalta. During the German occupation, 130 million East Europeans lived in the hope that the end of the war would bring them freedom. They could not know that their freedom would be sold at Yalta.

Today, nobody hears their voice and nobody cares about them, not in the Soviet Union and not in America.
