Next time you go to the
USSR, do something real
for Christian liberty
[Letter submitted to Billy Graham, "c/o KGB, Soviet Union,"
22 January 1983]
I read in the newspaper that you intend to go again to the Soviet Union. Since you are supposedly such a good Christian and evangelist ...
How pitifully poor seems to me your interpretation and understanding of the Bible, under cover of which you and others like you accumulate fat bank accounts (maybe because it says "In God We Trust" on the dollar bill?), compared with, for instance, the examples given by Father Kolbe and Dr. Korczak: both gave their lives for their brothers ... the first-mentioned because of what is written in the Bible, and the other because of God's word in his heart....
Why, instead of making the headlines here in America about your "achievements" in the Soviet Union and the Communist-controlled countries, do you not just go there and scream, in the name of the Bible, for religious freedom and physical liberty of those enslaved people?
In the name of Freedom for Poland, America, and the World,
