Letter to Rep. Newt Gingrich (27 February 1990)
Dear Sir:
I received your letter with the Heritage Foundation Briefing Report. I fully agree with those statements, but far surpassing the points mentioned is the real problem, which is enormous and threatens the existence of the U.S.A.
A long time ago I received a postcard picturing President Lincoln and his words of advice to American citizens that, for the good of America, a revolution should be staged every twenty years. I assume that, if Pres. Lincoln could see America today, he would complete his advice with: Hang some of the presidents together with some members of their administrations, some Senators and Congressmen, for breaking their oath of office.... He might even lead the people to fight those corrupt and treacherous individuals in government.
The American Constitution is demanding to preserve and defend our Independence, and presidents, members of their administrations, Senators, and Congressmen swear in their oaths of office to do that. In my vocabulary it is treason when those officials break this oath by giving aid and comfort to the enemy!
Many years ago I had the pleasure to discuss with a former American ambassador to Russia the fact that certain banks and multimillionaires, in their craziness in which is a method, support the world's enemy — the Communists — by lending them money (secured by our tax dollars), building factories, etc., etc. — which translates in giving aid to the enemy. His explanation was as follows (not verbatim): They are rather patriotic Americans, whose naivete borders on stupidity, and in their stupidity they take actions which border on treason.
Another American ambassador, Arthur Bliss Lane, resigned from his government position to write the book I Saw Poland Betrayed. Was betraying Poland and the rest of East Europe really in the interest of America? No, not at all, but it was very much in the interest of Russia!
The Constitution uses the word "treason" in connection with "levying war against [the United States]." Do you or anyone assume that the spirit of the Constitution is implying that, during times of peace, one is free to give aid and comfort to the enemy? No way!!! But even if you take the words of the Constitution verbatim, it is still against the oath of office to pervert, or protect those who pervert, the Constitution.
Many Presidents, members of their Cabinets, as well as Senators and Congressmen, are associated with the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) which, as is well known, works towards a one-world government, which means to surrender our independence. How can a President or any other member of the CFR be loyal to this notorious organization and be loyal to America at the same time?
Enclosed please find some interesting reading material, including a listing of Communist goals, which makes it quite obvious where we are heading. Too many in our past and present administrations are not concerned with preserving, protecting, and defending our Constitution (in other words, our independence), but are busy with aiding their Communist comrades. Several years ago [1976], in Philadelphia, over one hundred left-oriented Senators and Congressmen signed the [so-called] "declaration of INTERdependence." Just consider: The American Revolution took place in order to gain independence and then, to protect that independence, the American Constitution was written, and in that Constitution is no provision for interdependence.
What, may I ask, do you call it when a "compassionate" President and one of the Senators (both CFR members) give away the American Panama Canal territory?! It was precisely what the Communists had wanted [cf. no. 44 on the above-cited list of Communist goals].
If you add to the above the evaluations given by James Burnham in his book Suicide of the West, and taking into consideration that, since Presidents Washington and Lincoln, America was not governed by statesmen, but by below-par politicians, you will have the answer to "What is wrong with America."
Several centuries ago, Poland was a superpower, extending from the Baltic to the Black Sea. Then, Russia managed to implant on the minds of Polish traitors and meatheads in the congress and the general population (just like in America) the idea that everybody is scared of a powerful Poland, causing other nations to have an unfriendly attitude towards Poland, but that a cut in the military power would assure "eternal peace." Poland complied, and vanished from the map of Europe. Is this what many American officials are trying to do with America?
Every defector from Russia and other countries under Communist oppression, whether it is a KGB agent or a military person, or even just an everyday emigre, warns the West about Communism: historia magister vitae; even Kipling warns in one of his poems about Russia, but the CFR and the international banks "know better" and continue to plan, together with their Communist brothers and the U.S. government the establishment of a one-world government, over the dead body of America.
Dear Sir, I am afraid that this experiment of the CFR, obligingly executed by our government and legislature, will cause America to reach its three hundredth birthday under an upside-down flag, with a red star on it!... And, of course, there will be no desecration of that then-Russian flag!!!
This letter is written by one of "the people" in defense of the Constitution and against those who pervert it.
Wake up, America! Mene Tekel Peres — "the handwriting is on the wall."
