Hello one and all and welcome to the results for the Second Semiannual/Biannual/Hexamonthly (?) Krida Awards!
Don’t fret, the original Krida Awards stuff will eventually get up here too...
Yeah, so first off, I’d like to thank all the voters, and congratulate all of the nominees, because hey! all o’ yous are winners deep down inside (except for the approximately 3000 losers)

And now, on to the Results!

Our winner for the Best Good Guy award is Sproo, the Blue Twinnian who appears to win most of these darn things. Coming in a close second is Ouroboros, probably because he’s Co-Leader of the Lunar Alliance and has killed countless newbies...I mean, uhh, leads...the, uhh...the best government ever! Yay!

For Best Good Girl, our winner is Ithelruna. Just because everyone has a habit of dying around her doesn’t mean she’s evil! Coming in second is GothMistress, who is much cheerier than her name suggests.

In the Best Bad Guy category, a crushing win was had by Dworkin, who probably threatened to kill all the voters who didn’t select him...Great tactic! Slightly less evil is blooddrake, who got second place.

Winning Best Bad Girl is Gaia, because she’s really the only evil girl that readily comes to mind...except for all the other candidates, of course...and...actually, I don’t think I’ll get into this one. Second place is held by Pandora, because not only does she have a cool name, she apparently dictates the law in the RM ocean. Yay!

The winners for Most Secretive, of course, have been notified by gK message....and no snooping. That’s right, even you, Mr. I-Scan-Folks-For-Fun...

The Greatest Spammer award goes to Sparrow, which goes to show that even a level 11 can talk as much as a level 1. Second place is a tie between kring and Josh. Hey, I know, why don’t you have a contest to see who can spam more? (Nominee for Most Stupid in Summer ‘05= Dragyn)

The winner of the Worst Spammer award is Dukepride. Your prize? A chill pill and a sharp slap on the cheek. Simma down now! Second place goes to blah, who lives up to more than thrice his name.

The award for Most Polite is respectfully presented to Streben, who not only can use mighty Archangelic powers, but knows which fork to use for salad. Second place is won by Ithelruna, because she used a soup spoon for her dessert...or something.

Most Insulting goes to KingDucky. Good job, you [censored] [censored] [censored]-[censored]! The second place is won by Gecko, who may or may not have been talking about you behind your back.

Tying for Most Annoying is Dukepride and Bullet. Good Symo, why are we rewarding this type of behavior?! Second place is won by kring. Way to not be as annoying as those other freaks. Jeez.

The award for Best Spelling and Grammar goes to KiOfSiRiJS. Hey, if I had a name like that, I’d be good at spelling too. Or was it “well at spelling”...? Second place is a tie between rincewindish and Sproo. As a tie-breaker, you now must spell the winner’s name correctly. Bwahaha!

The Most Talkative Award goes to Dragyn. Incidentally, I’m the one who wrote all this...hmm...The second place is held by Dukepride. Wow, so he’s annoying but not necessarily wordy about it?

Least Talkative= Symo. Second= Tututkhamen and Arzyeka.

Most Trustworthy goes to Leelas. As a prize, he has been informed of the winners for Most Secretive. Wow, it’s almost as if I planned that one out...second place is for TransProp. Dude, white lies are lies too. D’uh.

In one of the surprisingly closest races in the Kridas, the winner of Least Trustworthy is blooddrake. A close second (to reiterate the close-ness) is talons. Maybe he could have won if he’d bombed more gates. (<-- Note: NOT ENCOURAGEMENT!)

The winner of Best Glazie is, obviously, Symo. I mean, come on? What other glazies can even hold a light to his perfection? Obviously not Dragyn and Streben, who tied for second.

Best Name goes to Gnadenstoss, which shows that even if you can’t pronounce something, it can still be the best. Sorta like French. Second place goes to both Ouroboros and Maleficencia. My advice? You were rushing through the character creation process. Zefiel did give you both a second chance, y’know...

The winner of Worst Name is Ajihad. Yuck. That’s a horrid name. Second place is NewB. Wow, that’s only slightly better. Still sucks, though.

The winner of Best Archangel or Janitorial Staff or Made-up Metaphysical Entity goes to Streben. Second place is won by Shzuru. Isn’t it strange how humor beats the continuity of existence? Yeah Zefiel, I’m talking to you too....*glares*

The Best GoKrida-related Joke goes to KiOfSiRiJS for his joke about gK action figures. Ok people, am I the only one who heard this? The second place is held by Streben, merely because he won last year. I still haven’t figured out what for, exactly...

The Best Story Posted to the Forums (invalidating Dragyn’s Tales of the Flatbread) is won by Sproo for the Book of the Tribes, a story that imagines what GoKrida would be like if everyone used “spake” as a verb. Coming in second is Gecko, for the Chronicles of Krida, which examines a world in which Gecko’s strangest gK-related fantasies could be played out for our literary “enjoyment”.

The Most Dangerous Good Guy is still Sproo. We have got to get nicer good guys sometime soon...people like Mosga, who instead of making one of the most impenetrable fortresses in the universe, merely conquered a planet, and got second place for it.

The Most Dangerous Bad Guy is Dworkin, by another close margin. He beat out lordgarion. Maybe to catch up for next year, you could sacrifice some virgins and eat a few babies. That’d help.

The Traveler award goes to Dragyn, because I sorta, y’know, started a project to create an interplanetary network of weir gates that would provide instantaneous travel to the far corners of the universe. Second place goes to TransProp, because all he did was go visit a few planets and stuff.

The Coolest Lookup award goes to blooddrake, because Bruce Lee is hella awesome. Second place goes to Anabel, because alcohol poisoning is icky....err, wait, no, wasn’t that....whatever. Someone else can go analyze that one.....crazie....

The Most Overlooked award goes to Sacred, who now will paradoxically never be overlooked again because he just won an award for it. Second place is Ouroboros, some weirdo no one knows or cares about.

The “winner” of Most Dead is Josh, who probably will die again soon. The second place is held by Pan, who thought it might be creepy to win this award two times in a row. At least, I sure hope that’s why he got second...it wasn’t for lack of trying...

The Best Religion award goes to Ahsratma because worshipping Symo is great, and you know it. The second place goes to CATTS, because killing people in the name of Symo is also great, but slightly less so.

The Best Sky Soul is Pakaran. Heck, anyone with a square charged as much as he has deserves to be best sky soul. Second place goes to Dragyn, who harbors no resentment whatsoever. Period. Totally. You’re going down, Pakaran. None at all...

The Best Metal Soul is Gecko, because he is usually the only active metal person anyone’s ever met. Second place goes to Heer, which is a bad consolation for also losing a planet.

The Best Leaf Soul is Leelas, who, if singing to the forests, should be feared moderately more than any of the countless other leaf folks who do that same thing. Second place is held by Eclipse, cause when I think of leaf souls, I think of a periodic celestial event!

The Best Water Soul is lordgarion, but that doesn’t make up for not inventing anything good yet. I just think you guys aren’t even trying any more. Coming in second place are both Sacred and Grandmother. They know how to flood your squares, if ya know what I mean...(???)

In another really close race, the Best Earth Soul goes to Mosga and Daithi, with TransProp following in second. Make up your minds already! Just cause they’re all invincible doesn’t mean they’re all the best....or, maybe it does.....hmmm....

The Best Angelic Soul is Streben, even though he spends more time not Angelic. Second place goes to Symo, because that’s the element he should be.

The Best Chaos Soul is Symo, though this is the element he shouldn’t be. Second place is Streben, because KD might have seen him as Chaos this one time.

And THAT, my friends, is the Krida Awards ^_^
