Spatial Magic

by Anabel

As many of you know I have been travelling for the past couple of months. At first, it was throught the old fashoined settling your hamlet and killing yourself through suicide. But as technology advanced, starting with Froggy's trip to Blue Twin, I decided to experiment with newer options.

Spatial magic has always interested many with its endless possiblities. I started out trying this while on Rainbow Catastrophe. I had been near the SE corner right next to the Leaf Gate. With some advice from Elendae and others, I started my experiment. Using charge space, the spell from the knowledge Basic Spatial Magic, I began my world travels. At the time I did not know I was going to be writing a report on the experiment, so I can not tell you the exact number of times I cast charge space, but I can tell you it was somewhere in between 5 and 10 times. I cast disrupt, the spell from the knowledge (Advance?) Spatial Magic. I recieved a message that said that I had felt the land tear away from me, but I remained in the same place. I then tried trigger, the spell from (Advance?) Spatial Magic, but recieved a message that the spatial threads were way too thin to grasp. So, I charged the space a few more times and tried disrupt once again. I then landed near the NW corner of Rainbow Catastrophe and could see the edge of the world. I proceded with my experiments, charging the space once again. I then decided to experiment with trigger but it was unsuccessful for I was stupified. Then I cast disrupt again only to land in the exact same spot by the SE corner of Rainbow Catastrophe. I wound up chaging the space once again, but unsatisfied with the results of disrupt I tried ~trigger once again. To my suprise I di not land anywhere on Rainbow Catastrophe, or any of its neighboring worlds, but instead landed on Yellow Moon at the sky gate where Tutukhamen was at the moment. Unfortunately, this is where my experiments of spatial magic end for I then got wrapped up in the local politics there until my arrival on Black Grotto after an encounter with a hamlet.

While this entry may seem long and drawn out, I think it is important that it is shred for it tells the basis of world travel. From my research, I have made some theories. One must obviously charge the space multiple times to recieve any effects. Disrupt will move you, but trigger has stronger effects. While I have not used gather, the spell from the knowledge (Advance?) Spatial Magic, I have a theory that it can be used to pull people towards you. I feel strongly that world travel must be explored for it will bring people closer together and could save many dying planets. Knowledge will travel faster adn trading systems will strengthen. Good luck to all world-travellers out there.
