I (1) 3 Probe and its effects: a scientific research. by Illniyar As of late I've been trying out probe, which is gained from advanced telepathy, on various subjects and have come to several interesting conclusions on it's effects. Basically the probe spell gives you a chance to learn something about the other person. The chances of success depends on the level of the target and the higher the level the better the chance of finding anything about him. After a series of tries on several subjects, I have found out that you can get information on the amount of SE the target has compared to you, the amount of people he has on him (if he is with 1 then it says he has no army) and the world he is on. Other, much less frequent, results are information on when the target is going to finish is current task and the mode of his/her hamlets. The various results which failed have given idiotic and basically useless expressions such as "you feel that they are in love", however other results suggests that you could learn on the state of food he has (it said that you feel hungry) and above all, that you could be hurt if used on souls with high enough telepathic ability- it has spawned many results that read "you almost get your mind ensnarled in something". After I have probed several beings, I have gotten messages from a few of them, and reached the conclusion that if you try and probe a person who is close to you, that person will receive a warning in the form of "XY looks at you strangely". This is the end of this MAJIK issue, above all I have deducted that probe is useful for mainly one thing: it increases your telepathic ability very quickly and above all with out a cost in SE. |
