Navigating the Rim: Edge of Heaven

by TransProp

The rim is an odd area of heaven. It can be accessed from the same place where you can either go into Zefiel's temple, visit the Beldevere, go to the forsaken plains, or go down the stairwell to the Gates.
The rim gives four messages. The bottom message changes periodically, and the others change slightly at the start of the rim. At the start of the rim your overview says you are at the "lower heavens" but that later changes to greyness.
Here is a list of all the messages, minus the first line or two.

To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.
Time melts and dribbles down the cliff.
Your body slowly evaporates into the air.

To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.
The air moans with strange buzzes and whispers.

To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.
Rivers of lava cascade out of rifts in the cliff below you.

To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.
Sand trickles over the edge.

To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.
A thin film of water ripples down the cliff face.

To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.
A feeling of desolation hangs in the air.

To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.
Random scents dart through the air.

To your right, the rim curves away into the grey horizon.
Soft grey clouds drift off the cliff towards the nothingness below.

To your right, the rim curves away into the white airs of the horizon.
A storm of light rages around you.

To your right, the rim curves away into the white airs of the horizon.
Tiny electric snowflakes scatter on faint winds from the void below you.

To your right, the rim curves away into the white airs of the horizon.
The air is filled with a fog of white light.

To your right, the rim curves away into the vague horizon.
The air glows dimly.

To your right, the rim curves away into the distant darkness.
To your right, the rim curves away as far as you can see.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, you vaguely sense a tiny building perched on the edge of the rim in the distant mists.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, you can faintly see a distant stairway climbing up the cliff below a building.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, a distant temple is perched on the cliff.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, a temple is perched on the cliff.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, a large temple is perched on the cliff.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, a temple is above the cliff.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, a temple looms above the cliff.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, a temple looms above you.

To your left, the cliff continues to the murky horizon.
To your right, a temple soars into the sky above you.

You stand on the rim of the void.
A temple is to your right,
and to your left the top of the cliff continues.

Other Message that dragyn didn't give me and I forgot to write down: 1

Zefiel once told Dragyn that if you go too far into greyness (which is where the rim goes) you will move out of the book of names and cease to exist. So, what with the time melting and my body evaporating and all, I decided to quit before finishing the Time/Evaporation message. The odd thing is that I'd calculated that I should have already finished the time/evaporation message by the time I quit. Or I just miscounted.
