Expert Alchemy/Manufacturing

I have recently had the pleasure of inventing both Expert Alchemy and Manufacturing. In attempting to teach them to other souls I have determined that Adamentine Alchemy is a prerequisite to both knowledges, and that Crystallurgy is a prerequisite to Adamentine Alchemy. Since both Crystallurgy and Adamentine Alchemy are metal-only knowledges, both of these appear to be so as well.

Expert Alchemy grants one action, Transform Adament:

Transform Adamant

(10 minutes to complete)

Transmit the spiritual energy of Adamant into a target player.

This requires:

1   Alchemical Instruments
1   Wood

This spell does indeed have the ability to transmit SE to any player, which finally makes paying people for actions in SE without donating possible.
I, at Alchemy skill level three, get two SE from this action. Another soul who has Alchemy 4 sent me 3 SE with it. However, having only done this once, it would be reasonable to think that I was wrong about my earlier SE quantities. It is also possible that sending the SE to someone else increases the quantity sent. I suspect that SE yield from Expert Alchemy is 1 less than one's alchemy level, but definitely do not have enough data to say so definitely. It cannot be taught to a soul with Alchemy 1, and I have not tried teaching it to any with Alchemy 2.

Manufacture gives two actions, Manufacture and [Build] Laboratory.

Manufacture

Manufacture produces 1 Alchemical Instrument. Obviously, these alchemical instruments are useful for Expert Alchemy. Manufacture can only be done on a lab, in the same way that Charge Earth can only be done on an Earth Temple. This is a small price to pay for the unexpectedly low cost of Manufacture.
It has been hypothesized that certain knowledges relating to manufacturing can only be learned on a laboratory in the same way that certain Earth knowledges can apparently only be learned when on an Earth Temple. So far, I have no proof of that. I intend to do most of my future inventing on a lab just in case it is true, so I will have no way of finding out, either.
Since Transform Tungsten takes 8 Tungsten and 5 wood and Transform Adament takes 2 Adament, 1 Alchemical Instrument, and 1 wood, and Manufacture takes 1 Tungsten, 1 Expert Alchemy overall takes 17 Tungsten and 11 wood. It also takes 6 hours and 6 minutes.
With luck, the Manufacture knowledge tree will continue to expand over the coming months. This has the potential to be a second highly beneficial pro-metal knowledge set.
