Well, here's the answer: I used to play DnD many years ago, and my character was a halfling elf, mage and fighter. I named him "banth" after the lion-like creatures in the John Carter of Mars series by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Excellent progenitive science fiction.</p> <p>It's interesting that the powers-that-be call the internet a web.
