Originally I had intended to avoid creating a separate page for links. However, it has become apparent that even the few outside links that I want to include are all but hidden if they are just included as part of other text throughout the site. So I have reconsidered and created this separate page. There are not many links here but this way they will be more obvious.

In addition, even the internal links I have on my site that point to special subjects are obscure, so I have also repeated them on this page.

Lastly, I will be happy to add your link to this page with a couple of exceptions. I will only include links to non-commercial sites, with limited exceptions, and the linked sites should be principally about photography (traditional and digital). Of course, I would also like to have my site linked from yours.

Send your request to dougnielsen@comcast.net. Include a two or three sentence description if you wish. Please note that when updating this site I found a number of the links I had previously included were no longer valid. Deleting the invalid links left the following quite sparse. I will attempt to add some more current links in the near future.

Sites I Use

Luminous Landscape

Great site by Michael Reichmann. The latest on equipment and techniques, conventional and digital. Good photographs, reviews, links and information exchange.

Computer Darkroom

Ian Lyons site covering PhotoShop info and tutorials, Galleries of digital images and excellent product reviews. Great coverage for the Epson 1270 and SilverFast scanner software.

Photo Travel Guide Sites

Photograph America

This is Robert Hitchman's site. He publishes the Photograph American Newsletters which are wonderful guides to where to take photos in North America. He sells individual copies or subscriptions. I have his first 60 editions.

Photo Traveler

Photo Traveler also publishes newsletters, but also puts out great Guides. The guides are spiral bound and are very handy to carry on outings. I have and have extensively used about a dozen of the guides.
