Here we are at the opposite end of Lake Agnes about to start another steep climb. We charged up the trail -- naturally we had to practically pull those puny humans up the mountain -- and near the top we stepped over a big pile of half-digested berries which we wanted to scarf up but the kill joy humans made us leave it alone. Later they said it was bear poop! Looked darn tasty to us!

On top of Big Beehive! It just looked like more rocks and trees to us but the humans seemed to be all excited about the views such as the one below which they said is a view of Lake Louise, the Bow Valley and the next mountain range beyond. Frankly, we were more interested in looking for voles and chipmunks. Get a load of Feather doing her "I'm the Queen of the Siberian Huskies" pose. We just ignore her.

While the humans were gazing at the scenery and eating some trail mix (we managed to panhandle some of that) a whole bunch of people arrived. They spoke in words we didn't understand (the Management said it was Japanese -- whatever) but they seemed to be very excited to see us.

Well, we certainly enjoyed all of the attention! Of course, it would have been even better if they had offered us some food. Shadow almost snagged a snack out of one of the stranger's pack but the Management caught her and gave her a scolding. Humans are pretty dense on the hospitality thing sometimes -- a dog would appreciate a bite to eat after pulling the Management all the way up the mountain.
