Stargazing in Brentwood
We have recently purchased an Orion StarBlast tabletop telescope in memory of John Sinclair. This is a wonderful opportunity for family star watching. Just a heads-up, if you want to take advantage of two anticipated meteor showers, reserve the telescope now. The Lenoids Meteor Shower, on the 17th and 18th of November, is considered one of the better showings with 40 meteors per hour expected at peak. The Geminds Meteor Shower, thought to be the best show in the heaven will take place from December 6th to the 19th, peaking on the 13th and 14th of the month.

Book Discussion Group
The Library book discussion this month will be on Monday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m.
Peyton Place by Grace Metalious is this month’s title. We suspect the discussion might center around what was considered scandalous when this book was written versus what might raise eyebrows today..
Everyone is welcome and books will be available for anyone who would like to join us.
