Friends of the Mary E. Bartlett Library
The Friends of the Library is a volunteer, non-profit group whose purpose is to furnish all of those extras not provided for in the budget. The Friends raise money through their annual membership drive, Christmas Craft Fair, Brentwood Gatherings, book sales, and more.
We are proud of and very grateful for our group of Friends. The Friends, Staff and Trustees raised a large share of the funds and did a great deal of the work to create an addition which doubled the size of our library. Over the years, the group has bought shelving, furniture, books, a video projection system, amphitheater awning, numerous Adult & Children's programs, numerous Family Fun Passes, and recently the Atriuum circulation cystem which allows us to have a state-of-the-art automation system,
The Friends of the Library meet every first Thursday of the month at 9:30am. Our meetings are open to the public - all are welcome.
